Everybody Skirts is now reviewing skirts designed with men in mind. Expect honest first impressions and a follow-up after regular wear, to help you find high quality garments that look and feel good.
If you’re a skirt or kilt maker interested in being featured, get in touch about sending a piece for review.
See the first teaser below, featuring the Tellurian skirt – the latest from Skirtcraft.
Update: The full review (and outfit breakdowns) are now out.
Thanks @Wade – and for the suggestion. It is nice to support small independent businesses – they’re often making the highest quality garments anyway.
I have a friend that knows the owner of Purple Rain so I will likely reach out for an intro. It’s nice that they have men in some of their marketing too.
I did a 7-day skirted hike three years ago and it was fantastic for airflow.
@Marica I haven’t tried the Unaligned but it would have been my second choice. It’s a fairly neutral skirt that can probably look good on anyone.
Thanks @Greg – glad you got into Skirtcraft’s Kickstarter campaign. It’s wild this is their third Kickstarter, and the Tellurian does feel like a high quality garment.
Hey Chip, just wanted to say this is an awesome idea! Not totally sure how to make the introduction, but I wanted to recommend looking into Purple Rain Adventure Skirts. My friend introduced me to them after I told her that I enjoy wearing skirts. I found the owner of Purple Rain to be super helpful to figure out sizing, and it was the first skirt I wore in public. Now in addition to a skirt I have three Purple Rain Hiking Kilts, which are basically wrap skirts with bigger pockets. But if you’re looking for suggestions, PRAS has great outdoor oriented skirts, focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility, and it’s always nice to support small independent businesses.
Got my first Unaligned skirts at Skirtcraft in 2018. I was still in the closet as a transgender woman. I wore those skirts in public as a man in skirts. Out of the closet i still wear those skirts from Skirtcraft to this day. Living in Norway now, originally from the Netherlands
