It all started with an article I wrote a few years back called My Journey into Skirts. I thought, this story needs a title image that shows the joy and freedom I get from skirts.
I wanted to illustrate a pair of legs confidently jumping into a skirt while flicking off a pair of pants. I drew several doodles and nothing was as good as the 1st attempt:
After sharing the article, I had so much support and positive feedback. Not about the doodle, but the contents of the article. That played a huge part in inspiring me to start Everybody Skirts.
I shared the article in a Facebook group called Men in Skirts and someone commented, ‘If you ever make that doodle into something physical, I’d be interested.'
